Member guide

Send something to the future.

Create a capsule in Discord, choose where and when it should open, and keep control until the reveal.

1. Create a capsule

  1. Run /capsule create in an allowed server channel.
  2. Choose a message and any supported image, video, or file.
  3. Select a destination: your DMs, one or more people, a channel, thread, or forum post.
  4. Choose an unlock date or another supported trigger.
  5. Review the private summary and confirm.

Only upload content you are allowed to share. A server can set file types, size limits, retention, and destinations.

2. Choose the right unlock

3. Find and change a capsule

Use /capsule list to find your capsule, then use its details or action controls to update, delete, or unlock it. Once a capsule is delivered, its content cannot be pulled back from Discord recipients.

4. Reports, privacy, and support

Use the report button when a reveal breaks server rules. Moderators see the capsule context and an audit trail before acting. Production records are persisted in Cloudflare D1; attachments and uploaded server assets are persisted in Cloudflare R2. The runtime container is not used as permanent file storage.

For deletion or support requests, contact support@cuff.dev with the server and capsule ID. Never send credentials.
